brick tile
Brick tile is produced from clays and shale and other natural materials and is mainly used in patios and other outdoor settings.
Durable rustic option
Clay bricks are easy to install and a durable and rather historical option, excellent for a natural rustic floor. They are largely used in older homes remodeling, and part of current offer consists on salvaged bricks from old buildings.
Colors and appearance
Colors involve mostly earth tones, with some oranges and pinks and also grays and blacks.
Brick Tile Sealing
When used in interior floors, brick should be sealed for moisture and stain proofing. Terracotta sealers (to a more “raw” look) are a good option, but modern non-yellowing polyurethane is also a current sealer.
Clay Paver tiles: alternatives to brick tiles
Clay paver tile resemble brick, but is thinner and cheaper. Paver tile is a direct alternative to brick in interior and outdoor settings (patios, driveways, around pools and in gardens...).
