Garage Doors
Wood garage doors are often preferred for its natural look and
for reasons based on tradition.
Types of Wood Garage Doors
Tilt-up wood garage doors are the most common of wood garage
doors. The most affordable of these type of doors are based on
firs and other softwoods, covered by an exterior plywood.
Doors made of solid pieces of cedar, redwood and other hardwoods
are between the best and most expensive.
Sectioned wood garage doors are less popular due to their weight
(good solid wood doors are heavier), maintenance costs and to
cracking and trimming problems.
