new propane lawn mowers
When compared with traditional gasoline units new propane mowers are an eco-friendly and energy-efficient solution. Besides, propane is cheaper than gasoline and doesn’t pose spillage and leak problems or contamination concerns. And the lifespan of the propane mowers is longer...
But in spite of these advantages, and after several years on the market, propane mowers are still too expensive, and for now mainly aimed at commercial uses.
New propane mower prices
Good propane mowers are expensive. Their prices begin at about $4,000 (push propane mowers), but most models have prices above $7,000.
Unless you have a very large lawn to mow, look for other alternatives: electric mowers, hybrid electric-solar mowers and reel mowers, or new gas mowers…

New propane lawn mower logistics
Propane supply isn't a problem. You may have it delivered to your home or pick it up at local retailers. Cylinder exchange programs are common.
Conversion kits
Larger gas-powered mowers can be converted to propane; some manufacturers (Kawasaki…) are offering propane conversion kits. The prices of these kits are relatively high (often above $500) but they can be an interesting investment..
