insect skylight screens
Venting skylights and roof windows can be pre-equipped with insect screens. The advantages of insect screens are obvious: they allow you to open the roof window or the skylight without letting insects in.
Fiberglass insect screens
Some insect screens may provide significant protection against overheating associated with the skylight. They often involve insulated fiberglass, which grants a very reasonable protection against overheating.
Dimensions
When ordering an insect screen separately from the skylight, pay attention to its dimensions. Insect screen dimensions are larger than those of the skylight or the roof windows. Take into account the light-shaft dimensions from inside the rooms.
